Summertime is all about glowing skin and beachy waves! But if you're not one of the lucky ones that comes out of the shower with mermaid-worthy hair, we've got a great tutorial using today's steal, Original Sprout Tahitian Hair Oil. All you need is a little salt water spray and hair oil and you'll be on your way to gorgeous waves. Here's how to get started.

Sea Salt Hair Spray

Mix the following in a spray bottle:

Let your hair air dry completely or it can be a tiny bit damp. Spray hair with sea-salt mixture, making sure to dampen hair one layer at a time. Once hair is damp, lightly scrunch sections so that it becomes piecey and waves start to form.

Divide hair in 2-3 sections and braid damp hair loosely. Make sure the elastic you secure it with isn't very tight so it doesn't kink the bottom. Let dry for 15-20 minutes (just enough time to put on make up, get dressed, and maybe have a little breakfast). Gently unbraid your hair. It's okay if it's still a little wet when you release the braid -- you just want the braid to guide the wave, not set it entirely.

Put a little hair oil on the tips of your fingers apply to hair a little at a time starting and the bottom where it gets most frizzy and piecing through sections to smooth waves and add shine. If your hair doesn't hold a curl very well, you can add a little hairspray or spray gel, but add sparingly so it doesn't get to dry or frizzy. Voila!
